I use the search button. My M4C search fu just isn't that great. Thanks for those links, and I'll be sure to read through them tomorrow. Also a little OT, but does the staff prefer a new thread on a subject or resurrect a thread 2-3 years old? I'll happily comply with either.

I wear similar stuff to you, t-shirt and shorts or jeans. No cover garments or anything unless I need a jacket - just not my style. But I usually don't carry anything besides my 19 in an RCS VG2.

Xdm 9mm 3.8, IWB appendix carry in a comp-tac minituar (spelling?) or a Kahr cm 9 in a back pocket holster, in my back right pocket. Zt 350 in front right, Fenix LD 10 in front left. Keys with mini streamlight, handcuff, car, house, and saber pepper spray on night IZ biner (doubles as a bottle opener) off of 2nd belt loop to the right tucked into front right pocket, wallet in back left pocket, spare mag in front left pocket, all hanging off of a 5.11 belt. Except for the keys which sometimes feel like they're bulging in tighter pants, everything stays pretty flat to my body and doesnt bother me. Jeans, t-shirt and sometimes an open button up. YMMV.

I daily carry either a Para Ordnance P14.45 LDA Limited; carried in a Safariland Raptor or Kramer Horsehide IWB. If lighter/smaller is the plan, a 2nd Gen Glock 17 carried in a Blade-tech IWB or Safariland 6378 ALS paddle.

Easiest to say that it's NOT necro-posting if one posts 1) genuinely new info or 2) asks a new, unaddressed question in a thread that's been inactive for a while. A thread revival that aids/continues a discussion is okay.

The halfwit that decides that "Like!" or "This is great info!" "I bought one of these!" or anything else that adds ZERO to the conversation that clearly petered out is gonna get publicly mocked for their lack of SA (which is doubly comical on a site full of supposed CCW guys that purport to pay attention to their surroundings....). It's not an infractionable thing, however, unless one is also post-whoring A LOT for the purpose of artificially jacking post-count for access to GD or EE.....or if one gets a case of the ass for having their mistake pointed out to them. That'll get one crushed in a heartbeat.

Threads that are needlessly repetitive are often closed, sometimes merged into txisting threads. Lots of the older yet ongoing threads with tens, even hundreds of pages, contain a LOT of merges. Judgement call upon the part of the staffer.

Thanks for the clarification JSantoro! I think I should have made a better title, because it sounds like the classic newb "What's your favorite gun to carry" type of thread.

I have found that when I go out at night, I will sometimes wear the 5.11 pants I have. I suppose the next part in the puzzle for me is to find a decent flash light to fit in that special pocket on those. I like to stay comfortable and not look too tactical or like I'm carrying.

I'm gonna look up some of the gear mentioned in this thread, and see what might work for me.

I do wear Vertx pants a lot, they're great for that.
