Shootin' Hot Hand Loads @ the Range

OK, they're not really hot, kind of upper middle class.

I was Testing a couple of loads today, but it was only 22 degrees and I was freezing my @rse off. This load shot best and shows a lot of promise, but I was so cold, I was shaking and rushing my shots so I could leave.

I don't think the 20 round target is representative of what the load is capable of form an accuracy perspective. My hands got so cold it was hard to load a magazine and I was wearing shooting gloves.

The first four shots were fantastic as you can see in the first picture and I think better represent the possibilities with this load. I really like these Hornady A-Max bullets. These shot lots better than the 150gr SMK's I also tested.

    Rifle: HK MR762
    Caliber: 7.62 x 51 mm
    Range: 100 yards
Brass: Lake City once fired (by me)
    Primers: Winchester Large Rifle
    Powder: Varget
    Bullet: Hornady 155gr A-Max
    Charge: 43.1gr
    OAL: 2.80"
    Chrono: ~2560 FPS

    First four shots.

All 20 rounds of this load, produced last night.

    Here are the actual rounds.

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in reloading. If one of the moderators feels like there is too much reloading information, please move it.
