I will say last night was the first night of comfortable camping I've enjoyed since April. Down side is that the deer just ain't moving

Lows in the 20's for the foreseeable future. I'm burning thru my heating wood at an alarming rate!

I left the woods at about 530 PM. Got there around 1 or so. It was warm enough that I broke a sweat walking. Damn temp dropped about 15 degrees in a couple hours. Sitting at about 25 right now. No deer to fill the freezer either...yet.

We have been getting in the low 30's at night in PHX. It's been colder than usual. Anyone seen Al Gore?

26F outside of Austin. Didn't break above 32 today. Went out around 11:30PM and it was like a like mist of snow. Came home and the news was on talking about snow and the mist causing accidents.

Doesn't get too cold here but people up north don't have to put up with 60+ days of above 100 a year, either, and this is a moist type cold with almost no sun.

Yeap same here, got a nice waxed sheen of layered ice on everything.Just started another round of freezing rain here so its gettin worse.Tree's are popping and crackin with broken limbs,so I probably won't have electricity for very long.Gave up trying to open the doors on my Dodge Ram so I could move it away from the tree line after an hour. Finally just strapped a sheet of plywood over the cab to protect the windshield from the tree limbs and iced over 3 pound pine cones etc..Man I hate winter.

Got our first taste of Winter here in the STL, MO area. Snow, ice, cold ... fun times.

I can't wait to try out my new heavy duty winter boots, boot liners and wool socks.

A balmy -9 this AM. Unfortunately, wind is gusting 25-30 mph so the wind chills are rather nasty. Dogs won't eat because they don't want to go outside to take a crap. Can't say as I blame 'em.
