    NRA Board Ballot

Well, it appears Brandon Webb didn't make it on the ballot as a few predicted. Not at all surprising given his outrageous statements. I suppose there is still a write in opportunity for him.

Which six are not worthy of receiving votes on this years ballot?

Discuss....There are simply too many whom I am unfamiliar with and if there is a for sure HELL NO on the ballot I would like to know about it.

Tom Selleck? - Yay or Nay?

Who else is not going to be on your ballot, if you care to share, of course.

I like Selleck but I have serious issues with some of the nonsense promoted on his show Blue Bloods regarding guns, rights and such. Not sure if it is fair to use a character he plays against him, but it isn't helping the cause of gun rights.

Yes please let us know your thoughts. I'd like for my vote to be based on more than just name recognition. As for Selleck I wouldn't take his characters statements into account. How many Hollywood stars have been in violent movies yet they preach gun control in real life?
In today's world one of the best things you can do for your child; Get them in Scouting, stay with them in the program, and encourage them to stay in.

Selleck is actually in a tough spot as he plays a New York Police Commissioner. That means to play the character with any accuracy or credibility he is by default "anti gun" and typically champions liberal / socialists issues and ideologies. It's kind of like Michael Douglas and Mark Wahlberg being anti gun despite having played some very pro gun characters.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that Webb is aiming for the 2015 ballot.

I guess it will take an executive order or two, or three for this thread to get any participation.

I received my ballot the day after your OP. I have been meaning to begin researching the nominees, but work has had me pretty busy. I probably won't get started until next month.
