They have these CONTICO brand foot lockers in the automotive section. Its no STORM or PELICAN case, but pretty sturdy and a ridiculous value at 18 bucks. Probably wasted more than 18 just painting the thing.

its 32 inches inside, so it should fit a 14.5 m4.....and it SHOULD fit a 16 inch m4 if you put it a little diagonal.

I still have to organize all of my gear and get it in there, but here are a few pics.

yeah got one few months ago..I use it to store my gear
pretty good deal. Might have to krylon mine too...where did you get the stencils ?

they were over in the school supply/stationary. Elmers brand IIRC.

1 and a bit of a 2nd one. probably didnt even need the second can.

used Krylon Camo kahki with fusion (for plastic).

I use these to mail my gear to and from Iraq all the time- they usually get a few cracks in them. The Sterilite brand (not sure on the spelling, it's the Rubbermaid knock-off) is built better for the same price if you can find them IMHO.

That's the one- the plastic is more forgiving than the contico ones. I haven't tried painting one yet.

I actually bought it at Walmart (in Michigan). I usually go to Pepboys/AutoZone type stores too- people use them for tool storage in trucks and SUV's.
You could also try Lows/Home Depot.
