How do you like the Elmax on the 0566 so far? I currently carry an 0350 with the s30v and love it, looking at picking up an 0566 in fde next!

The Elmax is great. Early on there were some heat treat issues, but that has been long resolved.

ZT 0300 and 0350. I de-assisted the 0350 - decent detent, so it still flips pretty well.

I switch a lot but I carry a Mick Strider SMF more than most. That paired with either a Mick Strider SLCC fixed blade or Joe Watson HiTS.

I just acquired an 0566, and like the knife although I still prefer my larger 0561. Both are in Elmax, and I've been using this steel for a few years now (0551, 0560 also in Elmax) with no negatives. I'd like to try M390 to see how it compares.

It's not a nice as that MSC but I love this SnG. PD-1 steel is amazing and holds an edge for what seems like forever. I've had Emersons and still love the ones I have but I think this is the perfect EDC.
