Based on my research and advice I value, it will be a: Gerber Guardian or Cold Steel Braveheart with custom sheath. I'd ultimately like to get something handmade, but that's the next phase.

Thanks for asking; hope this helps.

    Crazy sharp knife.

Agree, they are awesome, thick blade (compared to an average folder, at 0.156"), wicked edge. And having a fixed blade is nice. I recently started carrying a street beat in a Mercharness.

This little guy is growing on me as an everyday carry. I think it's between this and picking up a Strider SA or SA-L for my main carry knife. I just wish the Echo was a tad bit thicker. I still really like my (gave an SNG and a VB away but got a VB back, then another was stolen/lost) SNG CC and would love another one, but I'll carry a fixed blade when I can. I'll still eventually pick up another SNG or an Umnumzaan for when I'm stuck carrying a folder.

Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~ Paul Howe
