    That would have been nice to know before I bought the carrier since I already bought 2 bolts.... Ohh well

    Their new carrier doesn't seem to be chrome lined...anyone think that may have an impact on durability?

    Since it's coated in NP3, I'd think that would be as good or superior to chrome. I'm putting my reliabolt in a black nitride carrier, since I'm hoping the FireClean will be more likely to stick around and get absorbed into BN than NP3 (pure conjecture). FC is too expensive to be getting slung off my BCG.

    Some bolt carriers are still chrome lined even when NP3 coated....
