Picked it up this week.
Man, ain't that the truth. I had an American made 228 which I loved but sold. I missed it so much that I went and bought another 228, this time a German. Holy smokes, what a difference. I never believed that there was a difference between American and German but man was I wrong. This pistol is tight. I can shake it and not hear a rattle at all. The slide to frame fit is perfect. The trigger is very, very good, much better than the American one I owned. I will never, ever sell this pistol. To me it is the perfect combat pistol ever made and IMHO, better than even a Glock. Funny thing is that after I sold my American 228, I regretted it. In the end though I made the right call because had I not sold it I would have never bought the German.
