    BDay

20th birthday presents from my parents, iPhone 4 from mom, Sig 229 from dad. I received both of them early but I figured to share them on my actually BDay.

Police trade-in P226 DAK in .357sig. I got this thing for $299.00 and the light mount for $68.00.

Thanks Mega I thought I did alright. The guy at the shop said his store made $10 off me.

Link for Surefire light mount. Expect to pay more than $68.00 though, I was lucky.

    http://www.surefire.com/MR14-Mounting-Rail : it says
    Measure the trigger guard's width:
If trigger guard is 10 mm wide — MR14A
If trigger guard is 11.5 mm wide — MR14B

The trigger guards on my P220's are 11.7 - dang, I thought most of the dimensions between the 226 and 220 were the same?

Oh well one already has a rail.

The fit was very tight, as far as trigger guard width goes. There is no way to adjust the mount for this either. However, there is a set screw to snug it up against the dust cover. I guess you could get the old Dremel out.
From Antrim to Skye north and then some to Keppoch...
