I've got CGW's hammer kit and spring/extended firing pin kit in my P09 and their spring/extended firing pin kit along with the P09's old hammer in my P07 (and the reduced power trigger spring in both guns.) The springs alone make a big difference in the DA pull and their hammer kit really does make a huge improvement in the SA pull, reset, and feel.

Can anyone advise the following info on the sights offered by CZ:

    1) How thick is the front sight and how big is the notch in the rear sight?

    2) What is the zero on the 07 at 25 yards?

    3) Are there different height front sights to change zero if so desired.

Grant, for those of us used to a single action (read 1911) or striker fired guns such as Glock ans S&W M&P; what do you think about the DA/SA transition on the CZ.

My only previous experience with this type trigger was on a Tanfogglio TZ 75 long ago and I did not care for that type trigger with a longer first shot pull.

Although a clone I would not compare a real CZ to a tanfoglio in terms of quality and trigger components.

As far as transition I learned shooting on glocks/XD's. It all comes down to rounds downrange and dry fire practice. DA/SA can be just as good if not better, IF the shooter is trained.

From shooting Mr. Pannones gun, the DA trigger pull is nice and smooth. So I would learn to shoot that (honestly speaking).

We need to get Greg Bell to do a "Break his P07" test on the CZ

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

As a add-on to post #132 above, As I'm interested in this pistol as well as the striker fired P-30.......

What aftermarket sight options are available?

How easy/difficult is it to get parts?

Magazines.. What little looking around I've done, It seems that mags are expensive, ($45-50 apeice range) Is there anyplace that sells them for a little less?

What are the typical DA/SA trigger pull weights for a out of the box gun?

What kind of accuracy can one expect say, at 15yds

Dawson, Trijicon, etc make sights for the guns.

Parts and Mags seem to be pretty easy to get.

Pannones P-07 was shooting just as good as my fitted M&P barrel during an 80yd walk back drill on reduced steel target last weekend. So they are very accurate!

DA is probably around 7lbs, but with a few aftermarket parts and polish, I think it drops down into the 5-6LBS range.

UPDATE ON G-CODE HOLSTER FOR CZ P-07/P-09

I sent a nice email to G-code about expanding holster coverage to cover CZ's. Here is his response. I think the more of us that email him, the stronger the case. I would LOVE an INCOG and OSH for my P-07.

    Anyways his words:
    (SAME DAY RESPONSE BTW)

    *******:

Thank you for your email. I totally understand where you are coming from
and we are presently exploring other weapon platforms to expand our
inventory. At present, we just moved into our new production facility and
catching up with all of our orders. Production of new weapon platforms will
take time; however, we are always interested in our customers and their
opinions. I will bring this issue to the table with our development team
for discussion. Thank you for your input and we always like to hear about
what's popular and what's not. Keep watching our website and once we are
ready to introduce a new product, we list it immediately. Again, thank you
    and stay safe.

    Thank You,

Does the p-07 and p-09 take the same sights as a standard cz 75? Or are they specific to the 07/09?
