Do you want an offset or normal mount?
I've seen some really good prices on the VLTOR if you don't want offset; alternatively the VTAC is the best value offset mount, then there's the higher end options from IWC, GearSector, and 03DG and the like.

As has been asked how are you wanting to mount it? Inline? Offset? Cantilever?
To ones already mentioned would add Magpul as well.

Correct. IWC uses a 1.030" ring size to accommodate the G2's diameter. Won't fit a standard 1.000 ring from IWC. With other manufacturers, I'm not sure if their 1" rings will fit.

On my Kiss carbines this is the set up I run on a standard FSB:

    Light: Surefire G2 or 6P
    Rail: MI Tactical Light Mount
    Mount: Vltor Scout Mount

When I used to run G2 on my rifle, I used VTAC offset mount. Was on tight budget back then and VTAC fit odd-ball light diameter.

I used a VTAC mount and a G2 for years. I been upgrading the bulbs as technology allows. I finally replaced with a Thorntail and Fury. I bought a new bulb for the G2 that so far rivals the Fury. OP I'd highly recommend the bulb below and a VTAC mount.

The VTAC is what I recommend, since that fudge factor helps, and the price is really hard to beat; also the ability to color match them.
The VLTOR Scout mount is still my favorite for running lights at 12:00 in front of flip-up sights, to be honest the VLTOR Mount with the VTAC L4-3V Surefire is my favorite light, basically a cheap version of the M300 scout.
