1895 with some Mr. Smith Love

Pick up my 1895 GBL from Joe today and all I can say is WOWWWWWW!!! Butter smooth and a pure beauty. He removed the factory F'd up Checkering and palm swell and hand rubbed oil and fitted the stocks, silver soldered the XS sights and fitted a customized XS Rail, smoothed up the internals and hammer, crowned the barrel and finished with Black CeraKote. Something I'll be able to hopefully hand down to my daughter and then her children one day.

If you don't like that you might not be American. Looks like some real nice work.

That's a beauty! How does she shoot?

And I can just imagine the hunting trips with you and your daughter. You are both going to have some terrific memories. Good luck, papa!

He's a member here and a great gunsmith. Check back through this forum for some of his other examples of lever gun perfection. He's done several pieces for me (1911, m4 SBR, 1895) and each one is top notch!

    I'd spoon with that.
