    Magpul BAD lever on NEA15

    Hi all,

Recently purchased a NEA 15 with 14.5 inch barrel.

I'd like to fit a BAD lever to it but it seems the body of the rifle is a little to "chunky" and means the back of the BAD lever rests on the rifle body a bit causing interference and not letting the bolt release catch sit in its "fully release" position.

Has anyone else had this drama and does anyone have a solution?

    Thanks for the help guys.

I am one of the few 'weirdos' around here that likes the BAD Lever because they work perfect with RediMags. I have 2 rifles that have Vltor MURs and the MURs will not allow the the bolt/catch release to have complete range of motion with a BAD lever. There is a lot of extra material on the rear of the BAD that can be ground off to allow complete movement. Not sure if it will work on NEA though. No experience with it.

You are one of the few?? I was under the impression that the BAD lever was a very popular addition to the platform. I have one on all of my rifles.
I'm still trying to find one to fit my 16s.

My solution to the problem is to remove the B.A.D. lever.

    No, not a fan.

Hmmm. I can 100% say a BAD lever will not fit on my NEA.

It's causes the hold open to engage.
