Pretty much what the last two posters said. Anyone that relies on the YouTube armorers is asking for problems

Depends on manufacturer.
Many are anticipating a 90 degree offset of the torque wrench by the assembler, however, this should be covered in the manufacturer specific armorer's course.

Interesting. Never came across that. Do you know of any off the top of your head that require this?

If you look at the illustrations in 9-1005-319-23&P the barrel wrench is inline with the torque wrench.
