Aimpoint sells the bodies of the T-1 in bulk without that little lo-profile mount that most people detach and stuff in a drawer. The reseller then sells it with its own custom mount. Larue, for example does this. I appreciate that they didn't make me waste money on a mount or packaging that I didn't need.

Might have been. What is the SKU on the bottom of the box?

Alot of Retailers and Distributors are getting them in Bulk Pack.

The last two T1s that I have bought, came in a Ziplock bag with no Factory Mount, Manual, or Box, but did come with the Red Windage/Elevation Adjustment Tool.

Saved me money. I don't use the Factory Mounts, Don't need an Owners Manual, and a Box does nothing but sit in a Closet for years, taking up space.

As to the Brightness setting needing to be on 10 while outside....that is completely normal. I am usually on 10 or 11 while outside. Especially on a Bright and Sunny day while the Ground is Snow Covered, sometimes even on 12 in that scenario.

Usually on setting 8 while indoors, may need to goto 9 when discharging white light indoors.
