    Gotcha. The pic I saw, it appeared to be already pinned.

    I was gonna suggest a 3' pipe wrench with a 6' cheater might get it to move.

    That's what I'm hoping for. The barrel is far more capable than I am, but it's a tool that I'm excited to work and learn with. Once I get it built I'll post it up.

    As long as the ion is in and the port hole in the barrel matches the one in the block you are golden my friend. Looks done properly as I just did one myself.

    And if you want to remove the block out some oil on the barrel around the block and try to twist it. If you just wanna see if they are aligned just use a paper clip

    My Rainier SS Medcon looks exactly the same. There's a small gap between the barrel "shelf" and the body of the gas block. Works just fine. Go shoot it.
