    100% Mil-Spec M4 Who is making them

Ok, guy's this may sound like a dumb question but I want to know who is building a totally 100% mil-spec M4 carbine these day's. Aside from BCM of course. I'm trying to find one that is as similar as possible to the one I carried on deployment. I know a civilian version will not have the auto selector. Iv'e looked at the BCM M4 Mod2 but that has a 16" barrel, I want 14.5. These things may not matter to many but it does to me, so any info would be greatly appreciated......

The closest you are gonna get is the one from BCM you mentioned. To get a 14.5in gun it had to have the muzzle device pinned and welded on to get it to the minimum legal length of 16in.

My guns are all 14.5 and they are pinned and welded with various AAC suppressor mounts.

    100% Mil-Spec M4 Who is making them

No one makes 100% mil-spec, it's a myth for the commercial market.

Colt hold the TDP meaning they're the best to look at that'll come truly the closest.

Other companies who have the TDP aren't allowed to use it to make commercial rifles.

If you want the closest to mil-spec go colt if you don't wanna get a BCM

A colt 6920 with a chopped and pinned muzzle device is exactly what you caried. Actually, to have a true milspec A2 flash hider you would have to sbr the rifle.

    Buy this:
    http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin...ey=LE6920-OEM1

    Replace the barrel with this:

Sell off the original 16" barrel & finish off with parts you had on your issued rifle.

GandR sells a 14.5 Colt upper with a matech rear sight, just needs the KAC handguard. I'm starting a similar build with a APTIAL-C in place of a true PEQ-15
