Under Armour Gen II Tactical Pants/Shirt?

Anyone tried out the Under Armour Gen II Tactical Cargo pants? Everything I've ever tried out from UA, has fit well, and been super high quality. SOME items are WAY overpriced, while the rest, are just expensive.
Anyone tried out these pants? I like the look of the Desert Sand color pants and shirt.

80 dollars for pants that im going to intentionally try to destroy is a bit much.

I agree with your comments 100%. Im sure these are fantastic pants but really, will they do anything that a standard pair of 5.11's wont?

I wonder if hot brass will melt this stuff like it does to regular lightweight nylon?

Well, considering most of us around here thing anything 5.11 TOTALLY sucks, and most of us are wearing Force 10's that cost $110-ish, then $80 seems like a nice price.
I cannot stand the cheap feel of 5.11 pants. They are SO TIGHT, and just remind me of a female wearing tight pants to show off her figure.
Maybe it's just me, but they've always felt cheap.

Which 5.11 pants? The standard 5.11 tactical (canvas) version?

The ripstop TDU's are pretty decent.

Got a million pairs of Carhartt carpenter work jeans.
However, I've not seen any Carhartts that have cargo pockets/etc
Maybe they make them, but they just aren't sold locally?
Anyhow, I do not know which 5.11 pants I have tried, but there is a Police Supply store that must have a million pair in stock. Everything 5.11 AFAIK.
There could be some 5.11's I've not tried though. For years I think there was only 1 fabric/design of "5.11 Tactical Pant", and that would be the ones I've tried.
If there is a newer version, I will try them.

I guess that once you've worn TAD Force 10's, there is nothing that can even come close to comparing.
Of course, a 30-ish dollar pair of "tactical" pants just isn't going to be very high in quality IMO. YES, there COULD be and SHOULD be a $30 pair of high quality pants made, but in todays age, that just doesn't seem to happen much.
I'll be the first to admit the Force 10's are NOT worth $100+. NO piece of fabric used to cover my body IS worth that much.
However, as I said, once you've worn them, nothing much else compares (at least nothing I've tried)
I asked about the Under Armours, because ALL of their hunting clothing, while overpriced, is very well made, and feels/fits great.
