    Did they bead blast it before coating? Would be afraid to hurt the lower layer.

    He disassembly every parts of my DDM4V5, degrease and blast it and oven dry 250F degree than spray coat it, then oven cure. It's lot of work.

    Neville is talking about the layer of protection that BCM treats the surface of the KMR with before applying the finish coat you see. The questions are... Will that treatment be removed when blasted and if it is removed will you have corrosion issues when the Ceracote is nicked? I don't know the answer.

    I may have to look into something the same with my 16" BCM W/ 13" KMR rail as well.

    I hate to copy but this is really close to something I would like ... subtle and not to flashy but clean looking as well.

    Thanks. I think is Sniper Grey, Combat Grey and 5% Metallic, I have this over 8 month, never get tired looking at it. You have to see that in person. It looks Amazing.
