I appreciate it. I'm slowing depleting the Black Hills out of my stock and if there is no drastic difference, I think Ill be picking up the CBC. I shoot a lot of these 77grs out of my 11.5's. Every bit of savings here and there adds up to 1000's of extra rounds or more training.

That's what I like to hear. Ordering as we speak. Appreciate it.

Does anyone know whose bullets are being used? Is it Nosler's or Sierra's?

Mod1 (18" CLE Douglas) results for comparison:

    CBC groups

Thermal doesn't allow for a super tight POA for shooting groups but still pretty damn good results with the CBC 77gr load.

That looks like a pretty darn good groupings from non hand loads. Ill take that any day. Thanks for posting that up, and putting in the work. I have no doubt that I will get similar results after reading the positive feedback on the CBC that's been posted here.

Welcome, the CBC 62gr FMJ load (no penetrator core to eat up your steel) is a stout performer as well & FAST, 2942FPS avg out of a 16" tube. Groups print half the size of M193/M855.

You are measuring at the muzzle as opposed to 10-12ft away with a standard chrono... either way, that is cooking for a heavy .22 cal bullet.

Arms unlimited has a bunch. Saw it up on gunbroker that they had 39 cases or so. http://www.armsunlimited.com/Magtech...c-otm-case.htm
