TOTALLY missing the point Paul. The point is, look at the terminal ballistics of the 77gr SMK. Through denim, PENETRATES LESS THAN 8"! Last I recall, FBI recommended TWELVE INCHES.....

Not at all, but you did miss my sarcasm.

I do agree that 8" of penetration isn't enough for SD or HD. 8" might be enough for sex but not for trying to stop someone that's trying to kill you.

As I've posted before, I want my bullet to exit whatever I'm shooting whither it's a deer or a BG.

This round is made for match shooting. Inconsistent behavior in tissue. No barrier capability.

I don't get it. Why not go with something else easily available like federal fusion/Speer gold dot, Barnes tsx, etc?

While it’s certainly not a “blind to barriers” projectile, the penetration of the 77 grain Sierra MatchKing shot through auto safety glass is on par with M855.
