How are your "buffer pads" designed? I mean, are they a part of the metal BODY of the buffer, OR are they some type of composite/plastic material, which is somehow attached to the buffer?
Just wondering what they are, and how they are attached to the buffer (or are they an integral PART of the buffer??)
The anti-tilt pads are a integral part of the bolt carrier ( they have nothing to do with the buffer, I use a standard H buffer in my Piston system) they are machined into the carrier during manufacture, the same as the solid carrier key, its also machined into the carrier during manufacture, NO bolt on carrier key!
Find a picture of the HK 416 bolt carrier and you will see the pads on the lower rear of their carrier...........................AD
