    S&W 28-2

Just got this 28-2. Gun came with replacement rear sight blade as this one is a little chewed up. Hope to shoot her this weekend. I bought the leather separately from Simply Rugged.

One of the best revolvers ever, and your pics really do it justice! Congrats on a great find.

    Purty!

I do love the older wheelguns. Let us know how it shoots, I bet it really brings a smile to your face.

Nice! I've been eyeballing a Simply Rugged in oxblood.

Hizzie, FYI, my wait time for that holster and a pocket holster for my 642 from SR, was even less than posted on their site. About 2 weeks, maybe 12 days.

The Highway Patrolman in 4 inch is just about perfect - very nice revolver.
And that's a beautiful holster as well.

Beautiful. They don't make them like that anymore.

Thanks for sharing and congrats. I bet you'll find it is a great shooter. I love the old Smiths (my N is 27-2) and Simply Rugged makes a fine product.

    Waiting for your range report.

Beautiful gun. I had forgotten they had counter-sunk chambers. Need a more minimalist holster for barbeque wear though.
