A few Blasters from the past my way...

For you guys that don't visit Weapons Guild or Subguns here are a few of my builds...

AR70 with a rectangle tube receiver and another in the works with the correct sheet metal receiver...

It's at around 1000 rounds down the pipe now still going strong...

AR-180 build with a puzzle piece AR-15 lower...

Was able to fire a primed case in the 180 so I know the AR-15 FCG is a go...

A few more things left to do and I'll be shooting it...

So what do you all think???

Very interesting. Can you include why you chose the parts you did and the purpose of each rifle?

The purpose of each weapon is to see how each weapons system works...
I built the AR70 with the tube receiver for ease of construction and just to see if it would work and it does very well...
It's a heavy weapon about 12 lbs the bipod comes it handy...
The AR-180 lower was built from a Jack Squats AR-15 puzzle piece lower...
I redesigned it to work with the 180 upper it takes standard AR parts except the hammer...
I had to re-time and re-profile it to work with the 180 bolt carrier...
I'll take heat for this comment but the AR-18 should be the US service weapon not the M-16...
IMHO it's a better system it should have been developed further here in the US...
The reason for building the two is so I can blend both systems together on a future build...
Looking to build a ArmaLite AR-12 in 7.62 NATO next...
Starting to collect parts for that now...
I like take the AR-70 gas system and put it on a AR-180 style upper...
But that's a while down the road...
