Slop between upper and lower on my new colt le6920

Is this normal ? I have some slop between upper and lower of my new colt le6920 MOE
Just enough to get some wiggle . My Stag that I sold had none !
The colt had not been fired yet.

Sorry after more google search one post topic says that this is normal.

Close-fitting parts is something that we tend to associate with quality and attention to detail in the manufacturing process, but if they're a little sloppy it doesn't affect function at all.

ive noticed that some of my ar15s started out very tight between upper and lower but loosened up after time... at no point did that affect function or accuracy

    Probably defective.

    I'll buy it for $500.
