I've also got one in a 4Runner. Very pleased with it. I did remove the finger pull from the lid as it would catch on the underside of the console lid and I expected it would eventually tear up the console lid.

Where did you get the safe? I want one for my 4Runner

I am very happy with my Console Vault. The install took 5-10 minutes and the quality is worth the price to me.

Looking at putting a console Vault in my Wrangler JK. Currently I love that the center console on this car is pretty much massive as far as consoles go. For anyone that has one in a JK, how much internal space do you end up losing? The above pictures look like you'd lose a lot. Unfortunately they don't make a vault for under my drivers seat for this models year like I had originally thought of doing.
