    Just to confirm, the new shells won't work with my Gen 1 fire control group period or; it will work and I just need the new slide stop?

    Just need the new slide stop. The pictures I posted above are a G1 FCG converted and installed in a G2 frame.

    The new slide stop you need comes in the box with the grip module. Easy switch. David

    I recently purchased an FDE grip module and it did NOT incude the new design slide stop lever assembly. The FDE grip module I received was also the old style with the "compact medium" on the right side of the dust cover. I may not have received the slide stop assembly because the "SigStore" shipped the old style grip module. You may want to call and confirm with the store you decide to order from. It would have been nice for me to know before purchasing which style grip module I would receive.

    Yes you are right. The medium Sub compact has a rail. The small sib compact doesn't.
