So, if I walk into a gun store and buy a subcompact off the shelf, will I get the small or medium frame?

Safariland 6360 light holsters are finally out: http://www.copquest.com/safariland-6...ac_23-0796.htm
That could be a problem with people with large(r) hands.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.
I will say it is significantly narrower than the medium frame compact when I handled them side by side. So it very well may be an issue. I have normal ish size hands and it fit me great.

The .45 is shipping, has anyone laid hands on one yet?

Just picked up the full sized model in 9mm. Haven't had to shoot it yet. Trigger pull is a little heavier than I expected when dry firing. Will report back when I get a chance to take it to the range.
Mine weighs in a 6.8 - 7 lbs depending on the leverage (i.e. placement) on the trigger using a Timney gauge. This is about 1/2 lb more than my Gen 4 Glocks and a full pound more than my PPQ and VP9. However, there is very little stacking of the weight or over travel so it feels a little lighter than it actually measures.
Bottom line it's a decent out of the box trigger, but you need to send it to Gray Guns if you want a happy ending every time you squeeze it.
I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
