    Laser rangfinder for hunting

I'm looking for a rangefinder for hunting. Currently looking at the Vortex 4000 at $450. Any other better deals? Dont want a bino range finder, I just want a great rangefinder for hunting and obviously a little shooting.

Can you beat the Vortex and their incredible warranty?

AFAIK, Vortex is the only manufacturer that offers a lifetime warranty on a rangefinder. Every other manufacturer is one year, three years tops.

Have had great luck with the Sig Kilo LRF's for sometime now. Would suggest looking at them closely. Good luck.

PB that's on sale now at Cabelas. $340 plus tax, free shipping. Code VORTEX15.

I'm considering it as well. Anything better? Anyone use one past 1000 yds?

    Hi-wayman

I did find the deal at Cabelas and I did cash in on Vortex15, so mucho gracias. Didn't find a $340 deal, but got $75 off. So thank you. Best deal I found so far and pulled the trigger. Also, had a $25 off coupon I used. So $100 off, pretty legit.

Ive used my vortex 3000 RF past 1k. I lost it once around 1400 or so, and I think it was due to sun position, attempting to range grass.

I bought a Sig laser that took a crap on me for no reason. Just won’t fire up. I was happy with it but not their warranty. Now it is 5 years old but I have one older that still works. Happy to have bought a Sig.

The Vortex should treat you well. I've been running the Sig Kilo 5k, and before that, abused a Sig Kilo2000 for many years, and have been nothing but impressed with them. But the Vortex at the price you got is a good LRF.
