    For the HMMS, you slide it on, pull the cord tight and tie a knot so it doesn't move much.

    Same for the HAD. loosen the cord and it slides right off.

    Got my HAD a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't be more pleased. The inner cover is white. However they coat the fibers on the end with black. The outer cover stays on and uses some pretty slick feeling coated kevlar type cord to wrap.

    I just ordered the FTW-HAD cover in Coyote Brown based on your review.
    Looking forward to getting it on my Surefire SOCOM556-RC to see how well it handles the heat, because that bad boy can get really hot really fast.

    UPDATE: I just got my FTW-HAD suppressor cover from Riflesonly.com in the mail today and I must say that I'm really impressed with the quality and craftsmanship.
    Tomorrow I will test it at the range for fitment and retention after which I'll check for heat abatement and retention.
