Gas port size junkies-PSA report

Folks always asking what size ports various makers put in their barrels so I thought I would report.

PSA complete 12" barrel upper with PSA/FN CHF barrel. .750 diameter at the gas block area. Carbine length gas system. FSB removed for rail installation.

Used pin gauges (diameter checked against micrometer). Port size .069"

There seldom is a standard between manufacturers on the port sizes. I believe DD uses a .072" port size for the 12.5"

Centurion uses .063" which I think is probably ideal.
