There were talks about it at the NRA show earlier this year. The anticipation is running high.

No rail.Product code J92G300M 15 rd.I asked about a railed version in the future,as well as an Elite II,I'm waiting for his reply. The rep made it clear, that there wouldn't be to many 92G's available.I'll update when he responds.

Excellent! I've recently installed a D spring in my wife's 92FS. It's now my fav' pistol.

I need to get to my local PD to apply for some permits!

Honest question: What's the big deal about factory 92Gs? I can always easily convert a 92SF to a G, so what else are these factory guns bringing to the table that has "anticipation running high"?

Just from what I've heard, it's about like saying "Glock 19s will now come from the factory with the smooth trigger face." isn't it?

I agree. If it's just a factory 92G it doesn't do much for me.

Maybe some people possess the skills and means to convert an M9 or 92 to a G, but most of us mortals are not that gifted so we rely on either factory G guns or send our guns to Wilson to do the conversion for $150.

A 92FS can be found at most stores for around $550 and Wilson's conversion for another $150, that's $700. If the new factory 92G is under $600 street price, it would sell like hot cakes.

    And if it's a 92G Compact with rail . . .
