That is why I am seriously hoping this "new special run" Beretta 92 that is supposed to be released in October is going to be a 92G Compact with a replaceable front sight.
The Beretta 92 has always been one of my favorite handguns and has always fit my hand quite well. The only thing that has fit my hand better is the Browning Hi Power.
Allegheny Gun Works does SAO conversions of Berettas using factory Beretta parts.
I have a Centurion going to Wilson soon, and a ravaged 92EL going to AGW as well.

PF has a thread where people "in the know" have commented that there is something out there to be released in October that isn't just a G model. It is something special plus that just happens to be a G model.
I think Ernest Langdon is involved, but no one will confirm anything.
