Got one of the new 92G. I replaced the factory hammer spring with a 1911 main spring and found a pre owned Elite II hammer and Comp Tac holster. The 1911 spring dramatically reduced the DA pull and produced 100% ignition.

Nice. Out of curiosity is that a US or Italian made pistol?
Sam do you know what weight main spring you used?
I just sent my 92A1 slide to Josh at Allegheny Gun Works for a "G" conversion. I bought it nearly two years ago specifically to be converted and finally got an email from him that his supplier finally delivered his parts.
Interesting factoid -- based on recent testing by a very knowledgable person, the stock Beretta hammer provides better ignition than the Elite II hammer.
Ok, I've got an El Camino full of rampage here, so what's the plan?If you can't win a gun fight against a lightly-trained individual during broad daylight with 88 rounds of 30-06, I'm not sure you'd be able to do it with... any other firearm.

In my previous life, when I had the G-SD and Vertec, I did use the Elite II hammers in them along with 19 lb 1911 main springs. Never had any problem with them. I was told that the Elite II hammers were more reliable than the Elite hammers.
Like I said, the 1911 spring that I put in this G is of unknown force, but I haven't had any misfires.
