CLEO in my county will readily sign off so I went that route....and wish I'd gone with a trust, for a host of reasons. If I could go back in time, I'd get a trust and go that way.

I went 11.5 because I had read BCMs explantion and at the time I thought I only wanted one SBR. Now that wait times are down the MK18 is next on my list

    Update:

I got my lower in yesterday from Grant at G&R, BCM. Very impressed with build quality. I went ahead and had grant put a Geissele SSA trigger in it. The guy at the gun store where I picked it up was nearly literally drooling over the trigger. While I was waiting to receive my lower, I got my NFA Trust all set up, witnessed and notarized, etc. Followed the guide here for eForm 1 and all went through, validated submission and now "SUBMITTED" for processing and Uncle Sam has my $200 tax stamp payment.

Just received email from ATF confirming all went through, so....

Wish me luck. We'll see how quickly the approval is turned around and if I screwed something up. Hope not. I carefully followed the guide tutorial.

You should have it back in around 30 days or less. You will be very happy with it.

We shall see! I carefully followed the instructions here from Waylan on how to submit the eForm, etc. but since it was my very first time, who knows, I may have goobered something up.

I wonder why it takes *so* much longer for a suppressor? Silencer Shop told me up to six months, even using my NFA Trust and eFiling as they are doing for me.

Efile for form 4s aren't going to be back up until 2015 at the earliest. They can't be efiling it for you. That's why it's going to take much longer than a form 1 efile.

Ah, ok, I must have missed that. They are using my NFA Trust to do it, but no doubt, as you say, using the "dead tree" method.

    I Efiled a Form 1, not a Form 4. Sorry to mislead. (I'm a product of gov't schools)

The entire system seems to be down today until 6pm for RM.
