    Suppressor Under Handguard Question

For those of you running your suppressor partially under your handguard, do you have problems with heat?

I am planning out my SBR build with a 7.62 Saker. I like the idea of running a longer forend to give more real estate if heat is not an issue.

We did some testing on that recently with a Gemtech can and the Seekins BAR rail. It gets hot quickly and wasn't something I would want to use.

Thank you. I will take a different direction with the build. I would assume having the suppressor flush with the end of the handguard would mitigate the problem.

From what I've read, centerfire rifle will be unpleasant with a suppressor under the rail.

Centerfire pistol caliber is fine however. I never feel any heat with my 9MM AR SBR and Tirant 45 under the rail.
