When asked if I were to be marooned on a desert and could only have the music of one artist to listen to, who would I pick?- I answer "Leopold Stokowski"

    I love classical music

I like classical music, but partial to romantic period composers--Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsokov, Wagner, Dvorak, the dudes that used more brass. I just never really got into some of the "tinniness" of the earlier stuff. As much as I love music, my fave is jazz. I played low brass throughout college in orchestra, etc., and bass in jazz.

My high-school, dropout, Depression-era parents always had something classical on, particularly when Canadian FM stations made their appearance in the 1960s. I learned how to appreciate it from them.

I also like Gregorian chant, Gilbert and Sullivan, Big Band, and Hank Snow.

    Modern music? Just shoot me.

Even if you're not a classical music person in general, I think you'll find this very pleasing to the ears and brain.

Movement II, which I think is even better HERE
Very nice,do you play as well?
