Rem 700 .308 action, Hart 5R/USMC-profile barrel, B&C custom stock, Badger Ord metal stuff, Jewell trigger, Leupold Mk 4.

The behind the scenes stuff: blueprinted/trued, Marine Tex bedding, oversize recoil lug, shimmed/lapped rings, base is bedded.

    Barrett 98B Tactical - .308 with 16" barrel
    Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 F1

Took it out for the first time today and it shoots great. Very soft shooting . Ergonomically , it fits me very well and has an exceptional trigger . The bolt lift is stiffer than my AI AW, but I am guessing it will get easier in a short time . It also weighs significantly less than my AIAW. The magazine is arguably better than the AIAW, I really think Barrett magazine is near the top of its class.

I replaced the stock Barrett muzzle brake with a Silencerco ASR muzzle brake as I will be running this rifle with a Silencerco Saker 7.62 ASR.

I traded a Colt/ Cooper M2012 for this rifle an I have no remorse whatsoever except that Euro Optic recently blew out some MRADs at heavy discount and I might have preferred an MRAD.
