Thanks I used scrap pieces of the 3/16" saddle leather cemented together for the riser under the deer skin. It feels great without getting sweaty.

Newly received GAP Crusader in .308 with S&B 3-20x50, H2CMR reticle. Hoping it shoots as good as it looks! With it's FN SPR pal, outfitted with Hensoldt 4-16x56, NH1 reticle.

Ha, how ironic. I just got done watching a video on the crusader. Pretty sweet rifle! Impressive accuracy! How long did you wait for it?

Ha! That's the sweet part ... about a week. They posted up a batch of ready-to-ship rifles recently and this was one. I'd been looking from time to time, but the configurations they'd had ready to ship hadn't been exactly what I wanted. When I saw this, I jumped on it, since it is the exact rifle I would have ordered to be built. Non-adjustable GAP Camo McMillan A5, 13.5" length of pull, no threading or muzzle device, 22" barrel, Templar action. I had them install a short rail section for an Atlas bi-pod and that was it.
