Glock 42

I'm thinking of either a Glock 42 or a S&W 442 j frame. I am looking for a firearm I can toss in my pocket if I run to the store or take the dog out etc. I am more familiar with semi auto's. I have only shot two revolvers total in my life. Trying to get some insight from someone who owns both before I make a purchase.
