    Mine locks up tight. No wobble on a VP9 and Springfield 1911 but they're both Picatinny spec rails. I don't have any Glock rails to try.

    Hmm... I tried it on Gen 4 and Gen 3 Glocks of varying size. I'll try a metal framed pistol later today. It's not horribly loose - there is just some play/movement. The X300 I've used for several years on duty is the same way and it doesn't affect function. I'll just shoot the crap out of it and see how it goes.

    Tried it with the pic rail insert on a steel frame Beretta and it's rock solid. I'm thinking the wobble is a universal rail and/or Glock thing.

    Will the APL fit the shorter rails on compact pistols? Thx...

    Unfortunately, no. Tried it on a M&P9compact, slides off. Called Emissive, the company that makes it and they said its not designed to fit on compacts. Too bad as I love it on the full size M&P.
    Will order a Streamlight tlr-3 for the compact

    Well....an m&p9c was what I was gonna put it on. Darn guess I'll "have" to go get a FS now
