Just like the title says, there is simply not enough room for the optic with the handguard installed. I purchased the SL to replace the original MOE because I wanted the extra length past the FSP, and I like the M-Lok interface design. Despite what seems like a design misstep by Magpul, I like the overall look and feel of the handguard. Installation was initially a little difficult, it fits very tightly, but this is not a bad thing because I'm sure it will likely never rattle or show any play.
The solution to the clearance issue was simple, and 5 minutes of work with a hacksaw and file did the trick. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
