    Good decision??

Hey everyone new here and didn't really know where to post this... I was looking for a SHTF AR and had narrowed it down to either the S&W M&P 15 MOE mid or the Colt 6920 MOE. I bought the colt because mainly it was cheaper and I didn't really care for the thinner looking barrel profile on the smith. Did I choose wisely?

I would say so. Colt is good to go.

Is go Colt over M&P all day. It is, however, all preference.

If the 6920 is in budget, that's the one to get. The Colt being cheaper means it was an absolute no-brainer.

Glock 21, it's one of the nicest shooting Glocks. Parts are easy to get, and you can even get 28-round magazines for it. The M&P would be my second choice, especially if it has the newer upgraded trigger. I personally would avoid the HS2000 45 at all costs.

Can't go wrong with a Glock.

I would pick the colt over the smith rifle. The m&p 45 mid size is a great pistol. While the 9mm m&p have had a few accuracy problems this does not apply to the 45. In fact the smith 45 are exceptionally accurate for a duty type pistol.

With the m&p you also have the option of dropping in apex trigger parts if you want to improve the trigger. The mid size 45 makes a great carry gun but its also big enough for range or competition work.
