A2 Carry Handle Upper Questions

I was recently given a Colt A2 complete upper receiver, and I'm planning on building out using the items below.

Colt A2 Upper Reciever
DD 14.5" CHF LW 1/7
B.E. Meyers 249F Flash Hider
Magpul SL Carbine Handguard

My technical question is; can the A2's RIBZ sighting scheme be properly utilized with a 14.5" barrel? I've read Molon's zero post, and can't really see why it wouldn't work. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, any advice on my built idea would be appreciated. Mods, I apologize if this is not in the correct subforum.

I think the A2 adjustment will be 6/3 -2 instead of -4 like on an M4 handle.

All fixed sight A2 uppers have a 8/3 battle range wheel, regardless of carbine or rifle.

All battle range wheels bottom out at the 300 meter mark. If you can below the 300 meter mark, the sight is not assembled correctly.
