As stated earlier, I sent my PA-10 back to PSA since I could not get it to run correctly. Received it back with a note that the BCG was out of spec and was replaced. Took it to the range and fired 40 rds thru it, no issues. I know this is a small test but had not been able to do this before. So I guess they have fixed the issue.

No clue If they needed a new one but I thought they had a version 2 coming out soon.

I bought a gen1 ptac back in 2014, and put the build on hold because of threads full of issues like this one.

Anyway, couldn't resist the sales, and picked up a gen2 18" nitride upper. Put 140 rounds through it in the past week, and it's been trouble free.

Only issue seems to be related to how over gassed it is. I'm throwing brass at 2 o' clock, and getting gouges on the neck of my brass.


Would a heavier buffer help? My lower has the PSA H buffer currently

A heavier buffer will sort of help, but an adjustable gas block will cure the over gassing.
