    Giraud Tool Tri Way Trimmer?

Has anyone here tried the Giraud Tri Way Trimmer? I searched, but nothing came up. I keep reading their motorized one is the bee's knees, but if the Tri Way trimmer works well it might be a pretty good option for those who need a less expensive alternative. I know I'd be pretty happy to not have to chamfer all the case mouths after trimming them.

No real answer for you, but I did order one yesterday morning. The woman who answered the phone took all my info, said he (Paul?) would build it this weekend and it would ship on Monday. $98 including shipping.

I think this will be a nice piece of equipment.

Got to use it yesterday, finally.
Set up at work, just screw the board down to an old workbench.

    Trimmed a 1/2 full plastic pail-maybe 700.
    Very pleased with the results.

That's pretty awesome! Took me weeks to trim and chamfer that much brass...

When did they come out with this?
It's really going to open them up to new consumers, that's for sure.

My brother has two of them. When he comes to Mississippi this Christmas we are going to build a box to hold a power drill so he can use them like the motorized version I have.
    BTW he loves his.

Look or wait for for discount coupons. I got the motor for ~$120.00 new.

The coupling is the key to making this work.

    Advantages:
◊ These clamp-on rigid couplers have much more clamping strength than the set-screw type couplers.
◊ A flat on the shaft is not needed.
◊ These couplers will not damage the shaft.
    ◊ Made from durable Delrin.
◊ Uses 4x 4-40 stainless steel screws with brass inserts
◊ Tighten the screws about 1 turn past snug. Do not over tighten, a little torque will clamp these on really tight. For best results, re-tighten after a couple hours of use.

    The "Size 'B' Coupler"
    -Side 1 - 5/16" bore
    -Side 2 - 3/8" bore
    Cost - $14.75 +shipping

FIRST QUALITY item and customer service. Can't say enough good things about this little company.

That is very cool ROK, thanks for the info. A buddy and I were talking about case trimmers over BBQ last night. This is helpful.
