Handguard options on 11.5 with fixed front sight?

Looking for good suggestions, I'll probably grab a magpul slimline and take some time figuring out where to go from there. I like the partial cut outs like the centurion, and the cut out with extended rail like Troy and Daniel defense

There a lot of options. Do you want rock solid, lightweight, fancy, extra fancy? The KMR is probably the way to go for weight followed by the MI rail. The Geissele rail is SUPER solid and makes a very SBR.

I haven't seen a pic of the kmr with a FFS, wasn't sure it was an option.

I would have geissele at the top, but would prefer that extra space from a cut out rail.

Sorry, I missed the FFS part. Your only good options are something from Centurion Arms unless I am forgetting someone.

That's about where I've been, go cheap with magpul, or drop the big bucks for centurion

    Fortis is the unknown wildcard

Centurion is nice. I got one on a trade, and I like it.

The DD Lite rail comes in 9.5" with a FSP cutout as well. Pricey but they're solid rails. Somewhere around here there was a thread about modifying one of the FF rails to fit a front sight, KMR maybe

Why haven't I heard about Samson? Looks like it will fit a suppressor, and not only does it offer front site cutouts but the only (?) option that has a hole so their is protection in front of the sight

+1 for Centurion. Surprisingly lite as well.
