The model 29 needs no introduction

Over the years the 44 Magnum and 44 special may have waned in popularity but they have never waned in capacity to do their job.

The four-inch N frame is the gun that I lean on when ever I need to be 100% sure I have the most power in a handgun that I can have on me.

The advantage of higher capacity smaller cartridge holding pistols has been spectacular for the by pedal predators of this world but the four-legged ones need just a little bit more bullet mass.

This is a representation of one of the finest packing revolvers for the backwoods a man can have.

The work I did on this revolver is a laundry list of the things that would make it a great gun in the woods.

1.I installed a night site front site.
    2.Blackpowder cut the cylinder.
3.I cut the hammer down to the prewar configuration.
    4.Recontour the trigger.
5.Fitted with a set of presentation grade walnut grips.
    6.Crown the barrel.
    7.Installed a new hand.
    8.Straightened the ejector Rod.
    9.Did an action job.
10.D horned the gun and did bodywork.
11.Then I Cera-Koted the revolver black so that it would handle being in the rain without any trouble.

What do you guys think of my work?

I think you should send it to me for testing.

    Beautiful work.

What is a "black powder cut" and what does it do?

Who made those grips if you don't mind me asking?

Black powder cut is a hard D-horn at the front of the cylinder.
As to the grips I'll have to get the name for you.

The grips are really nice! But so is the whole gun.

You're killing me. First that 28 and now this. An N frame revolver would fit almost no purpose in my life, but I have to say, you've made me realize that I definitely need one.
