    My first .308 build - Mega Maten

    Here is the build list and pics

    Mega Maten upper and lower with ext hand guard - cerakote magpul fde

    Black Hole Weaponary 1-11 twist 16inch barrel honeycomb fluting front and rear

    Precision armament m41 muzzle break

    SLR adjustable gas block

    WMD NiB bolt carrier group

    Geissele SSA-E trigger

    Vltor A5 6 position buffer tube

    Magpul CTR stock and MOE grip

    heavy buffer extra heavy buffer

    V7 lightweight castle nut and end plate

    Vortex Viper PST 2.5x10 FFP

    Burris Fast fire

    Larue LT104 mount

    Total Weight 9.8 pounds without bipod

    Wow. That's a prime piece right there.
    That brake looks like a beast, both in terms of weight and loudness.
    I am curious, what kind of bipod is that?

    Brake weight is 5 oz. It is supposed to be quieter due to larger and more ports we will see!

    Very nice! Can't wait to see some shot groups.
    Before you suggest that licensing, background checks, or other restrictions for the 2nd Amendment are reasonable... Apply those same ideas to the 1st and 4th Amendments. Then tell me how reasonable they are.

    Very nice. Sub'd for your range feedback. Thinking of building a couple mega's (5.56 & 7.62) myself.

    My first .308 build - Mega Maten

    Never did update with range info. Here is three shots of 44.8 IMR 4320. Ultimately settled on 43.3
